We have been in business since 1999 with a focus on sustainable landscaping since our companies conception. Urban Oasis began on the principals of efficiency, ecologically sensible and timeless landscape designs. It’s owners backgrounds are in environmental science and have therefore looked at the company through these eyes.Rooted in the philosophies of Ecological Sensible Practice, much of the staff has backgrounds and degrees in environmental science as well. Our design team is educated in environmental science as well as landscape architecture, horticulture and remediation. We are a team that works together to provide the best possible landscape we can.
Reuse:
- Use of bio diesel
- Recycle waste from jobsites when possible
- Try to re-invent some materials from jobsites
- Office uses recycled paper as well as recycles cardboard, ink cartridges, paper, plastic
- Business cards printed on recycled paper
- Offer recycled mulch options
- Offer recycled concrete options when possible

We are active in the Lyons Sustainability Strategic Planning Group, Front Range Sustainability Study Group, Ped & Pedal Friendly Lyons (spreading awareness and infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians), BoulderSpace Blog, and we support the Center for Native Ecosystems.
