Volunteering for Habitat Steward Program for DPS

Helping to create native plant spaces in schools – we are working with Susan Bardwell and motivated volunteers to provide a natural habitat area for Lincoln School in Washington Park. We have started with some serious soil amendments, then planting of native grasses and wildflower mix. The Update…the spring was a success and here is a photo of the fall structure left after the kids enjoyed the plants.
